We are looking for a Driving Digital Inclusion Delivery Co-ordinator to join Kids and support the delivery of an exciting partnership programme tackling digital disadvantage for disabled children and young people across the UK.
About the role
Contract: Fixed-term, 12 months (start ASAP)
Hours: 36 hours per week (5 days per week or equivalent)
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Location: Hybrid - Kids Charity Head Office, Birmingham and Work from Home
Reports to: Head of Change and Support
Kids believes that every child and young person should have the opportunity to thrive — including access to the digital tools they need to learn, connect, and take part in everyday life.
We have aligned in partnership with 11 other UK-based disabled/seriously ill children’s charities, to combat digital disadvantages experienced by the people we support.
The Driving Digital Inclusion Programme has been launched to provide equipment, tailored support, and opportunities to use digital or blended services. This will increase participants’ digital skills, access and confidence to connect online, and their ability to benefit from a wider range of services, activities and support.
As Driving Digital Inclusion Delivery Co-ordinator, you will play a vital role in managing the device donation programme. Over the next 12 months, the programme will provide up to 4,000 laptops, tablets and data to children, young people and families who have disabilities or long-term illnesses.
This is a hands-on, coordination-focused role at the heart of the programme. You’ll ensure that devices and/or data reach the right families safely and efficiently, keeping accurate records, supporting partners, and helping the programme run smoothly to deliver the greatest possible impact.
